Hello, my name is Michelle Alexis Villarama. I am 19 years old and I am currently in my fourth semester at Seneca College for Events Marketing Program.

The Event Marketing Management program is one of the fastest growing fields of marketing. As a student in this program, I get to learn how to create experiences that build value for the customers and their guests.

Event Marketing Management encourages companies to creatively communicate ideas to reach their target audience. In my semester in the program, I had the opportunity to participate in various conferences such as the Living Digital Conference and the Arts Exposed Conference.

For the second year, we will be assigned an internship position with an industry client and we are going to be responsible to assist in planning and executing a real world event. As a student, I will continue to have the chance of developing my leadership skills through industry and faculty mentoring and acquiring professional certification and training in Smart Serve, First Aid and CPR.
