Business Entrepreneurship and Small Business
My current program at Seneca is Business Entrepreneurship and Small Business. I have learned Marketing, business selling skills, presentations skills, Mathematics Finance, Economics and Accounting. These subjects are very important and have helped me understand the Business industry and also allowing me to become more knowledgeable about business.
Marketing has thought me to become very aware of the markets needs opportunity
can present itself. It also taught me the cycle of products, the history
of marketing and the evolution. Marketing has showed how important it is
in the modern world and the high demand due to its success it has acquired
in the business world. Selling skills have thought me to become a better
sales person and become a more efficient seller. Helped me apply and learn
selling techniques used in everyday’s sales. Also it helped me understand
the process that must go through a sell, which can be short to a long term
sale. Mathematics has allowed me to understand how to use proper equation
that can be used in retail. Economics has enlightened me a lot better of
the economic system in Canada and around the world and how it works.
In the years to come hope to learn more about business relation and doing better business decision in order to become a stronger business man. I also hope to learn more in how to invest and finance debt to expand a business. I also hope to gain the proper knowledge to be more confident in the business world.
